'Even being bitter rivals he can see through bulls***': Fans back Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp after he hit out at Gabby Agbonlahor's 'awful' criticism of Man United... but some Red Devils supporters say comments highlight 'we're in a bad position'

Social media has erupted after Jurgen Klopp admitted that he was 'close to calling in' upon hearing Gabby Agbonlahor savagely criticise Manchester United following their 4-0 defeat to Brentford on Saturday.

Agbonlahor called the performance from Erik ten Hag's team 'amateur', and was particularly critical of United midfielder Bruno Fernandes, who he said was the 'worst possible teammate' and that he couldn't remember 'the last time he had a decent game'.

Speaking to reporters ahead of Liverpool's trip to Old Trafford on Monday, Klopp admitted that Agbonlahor's comments had incensed him so much that he had considered phoning in to complain.
