Europa League final referee to be Damir Skomina... the man Jose Mourinho once called 'weak and naive'

Slovenian referee Damir Skomina has been named as the man in charge of the 2017 UEFA Europa League final between Ajax and Manchester United in Stockholm, it was announced on Friday.

The news may not be the happiest for Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho as the Portuguese once called the 40-year-old official 'weak and naive'.

Mourinho made his comments while in charge of Chelsea in 2015, after Skomina failed to award the Blues a penalty at Dynamo Kiev.
