Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund featured as Denmark drew 1-1 with England in Frankfurt on Thursday evening.
The Manchester United pair were named in Kasper Hjulmand's starting line-up and provided plenty of energy for the Scandinavians, who had the better of the play for large spells in Frankfurt.
Harry Kane slotted home from close range to give England the lead after 19 minutes at the Waldstadion, where the roof was closed for the duration of the encounter due to the threat of thunderstorms.
But the Three Lions struggled to impose themselves against the Danish press and Morten Hjulmand capitalised, finding time and space in midfield to drive home from distance.
