Edinson Cavani's Manchester United debut could be delayed as he is forced to stay in quarantine following move from France and doesn't get out until the day AFTER Newcastle clash

Edinson Cavani could be made to wait for his Manchester United debut after being forced to self-isolate following his deadline day move to Old Trafford.

The 33-year-old was one of four men brought in on the final day of the transfer window, where he put pen to paper on a one-year deal with United.

However, after being let go by Paris Saint-Germain, the Uruguayan striker has been living among the general population in France rather than living in a secure bubble.

Under UK government guidelines, anyone arriving in the UK from France will have to quarantine for 14 days, which would put Cavani at risk of delaying his debut.
