Former Manchester United front man Edinson Cavani has agreed to terminate his Valencia contract with the view to joining Argentine giants Boca Juniors.
The 36-year-old penned a two-year contract with the La Liga side after leaving Old Trafford last summer but could only manage five league goals in a poor campaign.
The Uruguayan icon has therefore agreed to end his spell at the Mestalla early with the Spanish club announcing his departure in a Tweet on Saturday.
'Thank you for everything [Edinson Cavani],' it read. 'Mestalla and Valencia will always be your home.
