Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Edinson Cavani is edging closer to staying at Manchester United for another season.

The Uruguay star looked to be heading for the Old Trafford exit this summer after expressing a desire to return to South America with Argentine club Boca Juniors.

But United have been working hard to persuade Cavani not to leave just eight months after arriving as a free agent, and are increasingly hopeful the 34-year-old striker will have a change of heart.
