Manchester United are preparing to face the same club -- West Ham United -- in successive games, in different competitions, within a three-day period at the same ground.
On Sunday they will take on Slaven Bilic's team in the Premier League at Old Trafford, then turn their attentions to facing the opponents again at the Theatre of Dreams in the League Cup on Wednesday.
The unusual scenario will throw up many questions. How different will the team selection be? How different will the approach be for each game? Is it difficult to surprise a side second time round, when you have only just played them?
