A young woman has been jailed after doing hippy crack at the wheel then veering into the other side of the road and ploughing into an oncoming van.
Jordanna Best, 21, still had an inflated balloon of nitrous oxide in her mouth when she careered into the van in her Ford Ka, seriously injuring passengers Harrison Oldfield and Lauren Best.
Lauren suffered a fractured vertebra and injuries to her liver whilst Mr Oldfield was left with broken ribs. The van driver suffered cuts and bruises in the collision.
