Donald Trump received huge £45k donation from Manchester United director Ed Glazer

Manchester United director Ed Glazer was among a host of sporting figures who financially backed Donald Trump to become the next US president.

Trump sensationally won his election battle against Hillary Clinton to replace Barack Obama as the leader of America in January.

Clinton and Trump, who were rallying for the Democrats and Republicans respectively, earned public support from a number of high-profile celebrities and sport stars ahead of voting day.
