Declan Rice, Mason Mount, Alexis Mac Allister and Sandro Tonali have made big moves in a summer for Premier League midfield revamps... but which of the 'big seven' have done the best business in the engine room?

Midfield has been the key area that Premier League clubs have been prioritising to improve in the summer transfer window.

Some of the Premier League's biggest teams knew they needed a revamp going into the summer, most notably Liverpool, and there have been some massive signings since the end of last season as club's look to upgrade their engine room.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Man United, Newcastle and Tottenham have all spent big money on midfielders, while Chelsea are actively looking after losing a number of big-name stars.

Big moves could still go down, with Chelsea on the brink of a £115m deal for Moises Caicedo and West Ham desperate to keep Lucas Paqueta after reigning Premier League champions Man City launched a £70m bid.
