David Wagner called Huddersfield Town's 2-1 win over Manchester United Saturday both one of the top moments in both his career and "huge" in the history of the club.
Aaron Mooy and Laurent Depoitre spotted the Terriers a two-goal lead and Huddersfield held on despite a late Marcus Rashford header to beat United for the first time since 1952.
Wagner said he understood how important a result beating United was for his club, whom he guided to an unlikely promotion from the Championship last season.
"I live in Huddersfield so I know a little bit, maybe not 100 percent, how huge this result is for this town, for the supporters, for the chairman, for the board, for everyone who supports this football club," he said.
