Former Manchester United goalkeeper, David Gaskell, has died at the age of 84, his family have confirmed.
Having began his youth career with the Red Devils, Gaskell became the club’s youngest-ever debutant on 24 October 1956 - at just 16 years and 19 days old.
Between 1956 and 1968, he made 96 appearances for United, and played under the iconic Sir Matt Busby during his time in Manchester.
Gaskell won four trophies at the club: the First Division in 1964–65 and 1966–67, the FA Cup in 1962–63 and the FA Charity Shield in 1956.
