Daniel James insists he is 'nowhere near his potential' at Manchester United and vows to make greater impact next season after 'hectic' campaign

Manchester United winger Daniel James has admitted he is 'nowhere near his potential' at the club after a packed Covid-19-affected season.

The 23-year-old Wales international only played 26 matches in all competitions, compared to 46 the previous campaign.

And James told the official website that he has a lot left in the tank and vowed to try his best to have a greater impact for the Red Devils next year.

James was used sparingly this season by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with 26 appearances

He said: 'I'm developing every single game. I'm learning. I reflect on every game and every season I've played, whether I've played zero minutes, whether I play all the games, I think I'm always learning.
