Cristiano Ronaldo named on the Man United bench AGAIN as Erik ten Hag decides against starting him in derby showdown with Man City

Cristiano Ronaldo has once again been named amongst the Manchester United substitutes as they take on Manchester City in Sunday afternoon's derby at the Etihad Stadium.

The Portuguese star, 37, has still only started one Premier League match since Erik ten Hag came in as United manager in the summer.

Ronaldo started the 4-0 defeat at Brentford but has come off the bench in each of United's five other Premier League games.

Ronaldo did start United's last game, against Sheriff Tiraspol in Europe, but is left out again

He scored his first goal of the season in United's last outing, the 2-0 UEFA Europa League win over Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova on September 15.
