The Reds will play six games in 20 days, across four different countries, as we seek the best preparation possible for next term, under new manager Erik ten Hag.
It’s our most action-packed pre-season schedule since 2019, with the summers of 2020 and 2021 seeing us play just one and four friendlies respectively, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tour 2022 will begin with United jetting away to Thailand, where we’ll take on arch-rivals Liverpool in Ten Hag’s very first match in charge on Tuesday 12 July. What a way to start!
Then comes the Australia leg of the tour and consecutive matches at the world-famous Melbourne Cricket Ground – a stadium which can accommodate an incredible 100,000 people!
