Clive Tyldesley has taken a swipe at Sky Sports' Manchester derby build-up, with the veteran commentator left thoroughly unimpressed at the broadcaster's decision to use an 'urban poet'.
While he currently works for CBS on Champions League matches, Tyldesley did not mince his words when it came to Sky's coverage on Sunday.
Ahead of kick-off at Old Trafford, Sky Sports Premier League posted a tweet anticipating the hotly contested derby.
Tyldesley tweeted: 'Anyone else that could manage to watch a big football match without an overture from an urban poet now?
Many initially thought he was tearing into Sky's lead commentator Peter Drury before it became clear it was focused on the pre-match video.
