Clinton edges Women’s Player of the Month

The midfielder was the supporters’ choice in a tightly contested poll after a standout month, during which she scored the sixth and seventh goals of a breakout season in her United career.

Clinton’s latest contributions to the Reds’ impressive campaign to date were recognised with a majority 34 per cent of all fan votes on ManUtd.com and in the United App, ensuring she would narrowly pip fellow nominees Elisabeth Terland (33%) and Leah Galton (32%) to the prize.

Since returning to the club on the back of winning last season’s PFA Women’s Young Player of the Year award while on loan at Tottenham, Grace has gone from strength to strength and been integral to a term that sees the Reds entering the run-in fighting for Champions League football.
