USA international striker Chris Wondolowski has become the 21st player to join Common Goal, and the first from the MLS.
The 34-year-old, who captains San Jose Earthquakes, follows on from Sunderland's Duncan Watmore who signed up last week to the initiative where players give one per cent of their salaries to help underprivileged children around the world.
Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata started the ball rolling on Common Goal, with organisers from streetfootballworld.
He welcomed Wondolowski to his growing band of players which also includes USA womens internationals Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan and Heather O'Reilly.
