Roma's Chris Smalling has suffered another setback after aggravating his knee in training on Tuesday.
The defender has had a tough start to life at the Italian club since his permanent transfer from Manchester United on deadline day and has managed just four appearances so far this season.
A knee injury kept Smalling out of three games in October. He was then forced to miss Sunday's game with Parma because of food poisoning. Now reports from Tuttomercatoweb say the centre back felt discomfort in his knee in training and will be assessed before Roma's game with Cluj on Thursday.
