Chelsea believe they have prised Manchester United starlet Angel Gomes away from Old Trafford, according to reports.
As Sportsmail stated earlier on Tuesday, United and Gomes have failed to agree terms over a new contract after a year of talks, and the 19-year-old midfielder will be able to leave as a free agent at the end of next month.
And according to The Mirror, the England Under-20 international has recruited super-agent Pini Zahavi who is believed to have held talks with Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia.
The report claims Gomes has rejected a new deal worth £30,000-a-week, and while United are still hoping to tie him down to a new contract, the player himself wants first-team football guarantees.
