Find A Better Way, the humanitarian foundation established by our 1968 European Cup-winning captain after a trip to Cambodia in 2011, will now become The Sir Bobby Charlton Foundation for Victims of Conflict.
The charity was established to help speed up the clearance of landmines in conflict-affected areas around the world, including Syria and Iraq.
However, it is also focused on providing research and education to victims, helping them rebuild their lives and focus on a positive future.
Lou McGrath, chief executive of the charity, said: “After eight years of incredible work we felt the charity had ‘Found the Better Way’ with our focus on making lives better for those impacted by conflict – particularly the children.
