Cesc Fabregas reveals why he rejected Man United and Man City to join Chelsea in 2014 as former midfielder insists it was 'definitely the right call'

Cesc Fabregas has explained why he chose to join Chelsea instead of one of the two Manchester clubs back in the summer of 2014.

Fabregas made his name at Arsenal before leaving to rejoin boyhood club Barcelona in 2011.

His homecoming didn't go quite as he would have hoped and he found himself wanting a new challenge just three years later.

The Spaniard was wanted by Chelsea, Man United and Man City while Arsenal declined to exercise their buy back option.

Fabregas ultimately joined the Blues for a fee in the region of £30m and he has now explained why.
