Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has been urged to leave the club to pursue trophies by Joe Cole, with the former Chelsea midfielder claiming the star has 'run his race' at the club.
Fernandes has scored 16 goals and provided 15 assists in all competitions for Man United this season, with the midfielder continuing to contribute despite the Red Devils’ struggles.
The 30-year-old scored a crucial hat-trick against Real Sociedad to help Man United reach the Europa League quarter-finals and keep their season alive.
Fernandes has, however, faced explosive criticism from former Red Devils’ skipper Roy Keane over his leadership of the side.
