Bruno Fernandes has revealed that he wanted assurances over the direction of Man United prior to signing a new deal at the club.

The Red Devils had endured a tough season under both Ole Gunner Solsjkaer and Ralf Rangnick, which led Fernandes to holding talks with Man United chiefs about the future of the club.
