Brighton boss Graham Potter 'targeting January move for Dan James' with Welsh winger down the pecking order at Old Trafford under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Brighton boss Graham Potter wants to borrow Dan James from Manchester United to boost the Seagulls' survival bid, according to reports.

Potter nurtured jet-heeled James as the livewire winger impressed at Championship side Swansea before joining United for £17million in 2019.

The jet-heeled youngster has featured only three times for United this season and has not appeared for the club in the Premier League for almost two months.

Brighton coach Graham Potter worked with James at Swansea, where he reignited his career

That has alerted Potter to his potential availability and the opportunity to resurrect a loan bid that was turned down by United last season, The Sun has claimed.
