Bridgwater’s clash with Manchester United was undoubtedly the ‘glamour’ tie in the women’s FA Cup fourth-round.
The football on the pitch wasn’t too pretty, with the third-tier side holding a strong United team to just a 2-0 victory.
And while the 2,500 crowd, a record for a men or women’s fixture at Fairfax Park, watching on were not treated to a goal-fest in the Somerset sun, there was excitement in the stands when fans spotted former United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was there to watch daughter Karna make her debut as an 85th minute substitute.
