Brentford all but secured their place in the Premier League next season after strolling to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Southampton at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Thomas Frank's side were looking to respond following a 3-0 hammering at Manchester United and started quickly, with Pontus Jansson converting from close range in the 13th minute, with Yoane Wissa doubling the advantage just a minute later.
Southampton laboured in trying to find an equaliser before with 11 minutes to play Kristoffer Ajer put the game beyond Ralph Hasenhuttl's side who have now won just one of their last 10 Premier League matches.
