Brighton continued their unlikely march to next season's Champions League with an assertive 2-0 victory at Bournemouth.
Having somehow not beaten Brentford despite enjoying a Premier League season-high 33 shots against Brentford on Saturday, Brighton showed a clinical edge to get in front early before seeing it out professionally.
Striker Evan Ferguson, who had been absent for the weekend's game, returned and showed why he is considered among the league's best young talents with a well-taken goal. Julio Encisco wrapped up the win with their second in injury time.
The result ensures Brighton closed the gap on the top five, four points behind Manchester United in fifth.
