Borussia Dortmund have ruled themselves out of a move for Manchester United wantaway Cristiano Ronaldo.
Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl insisted the club would not sign the 37-year-old superstar but admitted the speculation had driven 'outstanding click figures' to their website.
Although Ronaldo's arrival would likely boost digital figures even more, the Bundesliga giants clearly do not want his following to drive their transfer policy.
Ronaldo has actively pursued a route out of Old Trafford all summer, keen to play for a club in the Champions League and chase down more major trophies at the back end of his career.
