Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke admits there is a 'limit' on how long they can fend off Manchester United's interest in Jadon Sancho after they failed to meet Bundesliga club's £108m valuation in the summer

Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has revealed there is a 'limit' on how long the Bundesliga club can resist Manchester United's interest in Jadon Sancho.

The 20-year-old winger was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's No 1 target in the summer but United ultimately fell short in their pursuit to sign him after failing to meet his £108million valuation, with their highest offer reported to have been £92m.

The England international also has a contract at Signal Iduna Park until 2023, which could strengthen the German outfit's position and resolve if United come back again next year.
