Ben Foster has revealed that former team-mate Gary Neville would negotiate his own contracts at Manchester United.
The keeper has told talkSport that he approached the former England international for advice when it came to discussing a new contract at Old Trafford.
Neville, now a pundit for Sky Sports, questioned Foster at the time why he needed an agent and advised the keeper on how he approached contract negotiations with legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Foster said: 'When I was at Manchester United when I was younger, I remember I was up for a new contract and I actually grabbed Gary Neville and said "Listen, I'm going for a new contract and I need a bit of advice".
