Romelu Lukaku will not travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina for Belgium's World Cup qualifier on Saturday but is set to stay with the squad ahead of Cyprus' visit to Brussels on Tuesday, the Royal Belgian Football Association has confirmed.
Lukaku is recovering from an ankle injury he picked up before Manchester United's 4-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend.
On Monday, a scan revealed no significant damage but the problem has prevented the 24-year-old from training with the rest of his Belgium teammates this week.
Belgium coach Roberto Martinez, who has been in contact with United's medical staff, has decided he will not risk Lukaku against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
