Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has said Bastian Schweinsteiger should "make Manchester United bleed" for their recent treatment of the former Germany international.
Schweinsteiger was included in the matchday squad for the Red Devils' 1-1 draw with West Ham United at Old Trafford on Sunday in a surprise move from manager Jose Mourinho, who had previously frozen out the former Bayern man for much of the 2016-17 campaign, per the Press Association (via the Guardian).
Hoeness is clearly unimpressed with how Bayern legend Schweinsteiger, 32, has been treated at Old Trafford and insisted United deserve to be punished, per Stefan Coerts of Goal:
"I would let them [United] bleed until the last day and then say goodbye.
