Barcelona's Ansu Fati to miss LaLiga clash with Almeria on Sunday after picking up knee injury in training on Friday... less than 24 hours after Spanish side crashed out of Europe to Manchester United

Barcelona have confirmed that Ansu Fati will miss their game with Almeria on Sunday after picking up a knee injury in training.

The Catalan giants were knocked out of the Europa League on Thursday night with a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in the north of England.

Fati featured for the last 15 minutes of that encounter, replacing Raphinha shortly after they fell behind to Anthony's eventual winner.

And on their return to Spain, in preparation for the LaLiga game this weekend, 20-year-old Fati suffered a setback with contusion in his left knee.
