Barcelona are monitoring Manchester United teenager Angel Gomes.
The 16-year-old is a first year scholar at United and tied to the club until 2018 but his high quality performances for United and England's youth sides have alerted Barcelona staff.
Gomes is one of the brightest young talents to emerge at Old Trafford. He is a very skilful and creative attacking midfielder though there are some concerns about his size.
Gomes, whose father Gil played for Portugal Under 21s alongside Luis Figo and Rui Costa, was signed by United as a 13-year-old and has consistently played in higher age groups, making his Under 18 debut as a 14-year-old.
