Barcelona have fended off late interest from Manchester United to secure the signing of Brazilian midfielder Arthur.
The deal has been agreed for £35.2million and the 21-year-old will stay with Gremio until he joins Barca in December and registers in January 2019.
Gremio had been angered by the way Barcelona pursued their player last year and had asked intermediaries to see if Premier League sides wanted to make a counter offer.

Chelsea had followed Arthur but it was Manchester United who showed the greater interest of the two.
