Atletico striker Kevin Gameiro is hopeful his team-mate Antoine Griezmann stays in Madrid amid interest from Manchester United, but concedes the final decision is down to the player.
The 26-year-old Frenchman has been heavily targeted by United for a summer move to Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho prepares to strengthen his squad for a title push next season.
And Griezmann's compatriot has spoken of the forward's talents during the speculation and iterated he could go on to bigger and better things.
When asked if he thought Griezmann was one of his most talented team-mates, Gameiro told Omnisport: 'I can't say that because I played with [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic, [David] Beckham.
