One of the all-time great counter-attacking performances, the Reds raced into a three-goal lead after 21 minutes of this visit to Premier League pace-setters Norwich. Ryan Giggs, Andrei Kanchelskis and Eric Cantona ('You can't believe this!', proclaimed commentator Ian Darke) settled what looked, on paper, a potential stumbling block and United went on to overhaul the Canaries, before seeing off Aston Villa's challenge, to win a first title in 26 years.
