France forward Antoine Griezmann was "happy" for teammate Paul Pogba after the midfielder's decisive goal in Les Bleus' 1-0 defeat of the Netherlands in World Cup qualifying.
Pogba, who joined Manchester United for a record fee this summer, has struggled to find top form since moving to Old Trafford. But he quieted some of his critics with a sensational 30-yard strike that beat Dutch goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg on Monday.
And Griezmann reckons the goal will provide Pogba a much-needed boost of confidence going forward.
"I'm happy for him," Griezmann told TF1 after the match.
