Amorim still hopeful about Amad return

The Ivorian hasn’t featured since early February, with the ankle injury he suffered in training, prior to our trip to Tottenham Hotspur keeping him on the sidelines.

The boss suggested recently that our no.16 could return at the end of this term and this is still the hope.

United have eight Premier League fixtures to play and we are still, of course, in the Europa League mix, with French club Lyon up next in the quarter-finals.

Amad has been one of our star performers in 2024/25, contributing eight assists and nine goals across his 36 appearances - including the decider in December's Manchester derby - and winning Player of the Month on three separate occasions.
