Manchester United will make a final decision on the future of Amad Diallo in the coming weeks with the player hoping he will be integrated into Erik ten Hag's first team.
However, Fabrizio Romano reports that if united do decide to loan him out again then he would prefer to spend another season with Sunderland.
The 20-year-old had a fine campaign in the championship, contributing 13 goals and three assists as the Black Cats narrowly missed out on promotion.
Romano took to Twitter on Friday morning, writing: 'Amad Diallo’s future is still open.
