Altay Bayindir is itching for an opportunity to play for Manchester United in a second competitive game.

The goalkeeper became the first Turkish player to appear for the Reds when starting the 4-2 win against Newport County, en route to winning last season's Emirates FA Cup.

Altay has had to be patient for another opportunity but is desperate to show what he can do, on the back of representing his country at Euro 2024, and outlined his ambitions in an exclusive interview with United Review, the official programme for Tuesday's Carabao Cup tie against Barnsley.

With another home match, against FC Twente, to come next week in the Europa League, the 26-year-old may soon get an opportunity to keep goal at Old Trafford for the first time.
