Alexis Mac Allister's knee injury is nothing to cause serious worry despite Liverpool’s Argentine midfielder posting pictures on social media on crutches, having stitches and wearing a leg brace.
The 24-year-old suffered a nasty gash on his knee during a bad tackle at Sheffield United last Wednesday and, although he carried on for some minutes afterwards, was substituted early in the second half and missed the subsequent trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Mac Allister required two stitches after a deep cut to his knee, with manager Jurgen Klopp saying last Friday that it ‘doesn’t look good’.
