Aaron: We're refreshed & thirsty for football

The Reds were enjoying a 14-match unbeaten run across all competitions until suffering a defeat to Leicester City in the Premier League last time out.

After that result at the King Power Stadium, the squad was effectively split in two: half went away with their respective countries, while the other half remained at the Aon Training Complex.
