A day in the life of the Theatre of Dreams

To mark World Theatre Day, we decided to take a look at the greatest stage of all - Old Trafford.

Dubbed the 'Theatre of Dreams' by Manchester United icon Sir Bobby Charlton, the ground has been home to the Reds since 1910, except when it suffered bomb damage during the Second World War.

Before the most recent Premier League game at the stadium, against Bournemouth, MUTV set up a time-lapse video to show a snapshot of a day in the life of the famous venue.

Click the image above to watch the final preparations take place, before the ground fills up with spectators, the match is played and the supporters leave to reveal empty seats once again.
