Former Premier League target Yevhen Konoplyanka has sealed a move to Schalke, paving the way for Samir Nasri to join Sevilla as his replacement.
Konoplyanka, who has previously been linked with Liverpool and Everton, has moved to the Bundesliga outfit on a season-long loan deal.
Schalke have the option to buy the 26-year-old Ukraine international at the end of the campaign.
Konoplyanka said of his move to the Veltins-Arena: 'It's great to be playing in such a club with such fans and such a stadium.
