Speaking to Bild, as relayed by the Manchester Evening News, RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann has admitted that the Bundesliga outfit are unlikely to afford Angelino’s price tag – meaning that the loanee defender looks likely to return to Eastlands.
The Spaniard, who rotated alongside Benjamin Mendy and Oleksandr Zinchenko at left-back earlier this campaign before heading out on loan, now looks odds on to return from his temporary spell.
Angelino re-signed for the Sky Blues from PSV Eindhoven last summer, going on to start just four Premier League matches whilst making two appearances from the bench.
