Willy Caballero admits it has ‘not been an easy week’ for Claudio Bravo after replacing Manchester City’s No 1 goalkeeper for the last three games, but insists that he has the support of his under-fire team-mate.
Manager Pep Guardiola bowed to pressure to axe Bravo by keeping Caballero in goal for the Premier League wins over West Ham and Swansea after he played in the FA Cup victory at Crystal Palace last month.
It was a big step for Guardiola who signed Bravo for £15.4million from Barcelona in the summer after controversially letting Joe Hart leave on loan to Torino, and then stuck by the Chile international despite a string of below-par performances.
