Manchester City finally confirmed the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund on Monday morning - but held off on revealing his shirt number.
Haaland will officially join City on July 1 after putting pen to paper on a five-year contract with the Premier League champions, just over a month since Borussia Dortmund accepted a £51million offer for their star striker.
The 21-year-old has now waved goodbye to Dortmund after sealing his switch to City, where father Alf-Inge also plied his trade in the early 2000s.
On Monday he was pictured in a City shirt for the very first time before gushing: 'This is a proud day for me and my family'.
