Former England international Trevor Sinclair says that Manchester City should not sign Neymar if given the chance - as he would be a downgrade from Raheem Sterling.
The Citizens parted ways with Sterling earlier this month as he completed a £50million move to Chelsea where he penned a five-year deal worth more than £300,000-a-week.
With rumours emerging this week that Pep Guardiola was interested in the PSG star as a replacement for Sterling, Sinclair has insisted that Neymar is too inconsistent for the Premier League.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Sinclair claimed: 'He's [Neymar] too inconsistent for me.
